Dear Brave Ones,
As a company with both a warehouse and significant community in LA, we’ve been shocked by the wildfires and busy being helpers where we can. On an individual level, we’ve hosted evacuees and given personal donations, but knew there was more we could do as a company to give back to a community that has been so supportive throughout the years.
From today through Monday 1/20, we’re launching a Buy 1 Give 1 campaign: for every tin of Tahmina tea purchased, we’ll donate one to those affected by the fires. Non-perishable food is in great need, so to be able to donate our food product is a small but effective contribution. We’ll continue to use our humble corner of the internet on social media to amplify other resources as well.
As a team that has firsthand experienced losing our own homes to the ravages of war and natural disaster in Afghanistan, we’re intimately acquainted with the intense trauma of destruction. Rebuilding is a marathon, not a sprint, and we will be here for our LA community as they rebuild.
